Confidence, calm and freedom in social situations
This structured 6-session therapeutic programme is designed specifically for people who feel anxious, tense, self-conscious, or overwhelmed in social situations.
Social anxiety can affect how you speak, how you act, how you show up, and even how you feel about yourself. It can lead to overthinking, avoidance, people-pleasing, fear of judgement, and a constant sense of being “watched” or evaluated.
This programme blends applied psychology, nervous system regulation, and hypnotherapy to help you feel calmer, more confident, and more like yourself in everyday interactions.
Before You Begin: Initial Consultation (£30 | 60 minutes)
Your journey begins with a full Initial Consultation, giving you the space to explore your social anxiety safely and without judgement.
In this session we will:
- Explore how social anxiety shows up for you (situations, triggers, avoidance patterns)
- Identify what you fear may happen (judgement, embarrassment, rejection, being “seen”)
- Understand the origins of the anxiety (past experiences, bullying, criticism, childhood conditioning)
- Establish your starting point using our Social Anxiety Test (on the Tranceform Psychology website)
- Set clear goals for the programme and ensure this work is suitable for you
This session sets the foundation for a programme that is fully personalised.
THE 6-SESSION TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME (£480 | 6 x 60-minute sessions)
Session 1: Understanding Your Social Anxiety Pattern
We begin by mapping your unique social anxiety response.
- Identifying triggers: social events, conversations, groups, authority figures, dating, public speaking
- Exploring physical symptoms (blushing, sweating, shaking, tight throat, nausea, mind going blank)
- Understanding the cycle of avoidance and overthinking
- Recognising “masking” and safety behaviours
- Gentle hypnotherapy to calm the nervous system and create inner safety
Outcome: clarity, understanding, and relief from feeling “broken” or alone in it.
Session 2: The Fear of Judgement & Past Conditioning
Social anxiety is often shaped by earlier experiences.
- Exploring the roots of fear: criticism, bullying, rejection, shame, emotional neglect, high expectations
- Understanding how the mind learns social threat
- Releasing emotional memory and stored stress responses
- Hypnotherapy to reduce emotional charge and create a sense of internal safety
Outcome: reduced shame and emotional intensity linked to social experiences.
Session 3: Confidence, Identity & Self-Worth
Social anxiety often impacts identity and self-esteem.
- Rebuilding self-worth beyond performance or approval
- Strengthening self-trust and inner stability
- Reducing people-pleasing and fear-based behaviours
- Hypnosis for confidence, calm presence, and inner strength
Outcome: increased confidence and a stronger sense of self.
Session 4: Overthinking, Self-Monitoring & Mental Reset
This session targets the internal “spotlight effect” that fuels social anxiety.
- Reducing over-analysis and internal criticism
- Working with perfectionism and fear of embarrassment
- Learning how to shift attention outward instead of inward
- Developing emotional control during real-time interactions
- Hypnosis for mental calm, clear thinking, and relaxed communication
Outcome: less mental noise, more natural conversation, and greater emotional ease.
Session 5: Social Confidence Training & Future Rehearsal
We begin integrating change into real-life situations.
- Preparing for upcoming social events or difficult interactions
- Strengthening boundaries and communication confidence
- Building a calmer response to uncertainty and unpredictability
- Hypnotherapy for future pacing: calm speaking, relaxed body language, steady confidence
Outcome: increased ability to show up socially without panic or avoidance.
Session 6: Consolidation & Long-Term Freedom
The final session strengthens and stabilises your progress.
- Reviewing your growth and the changes you’ve achieved
- Releasing remaining fears or stuck patterns
- Creating a long-term emotional resilience plan
- Building confidence in your ability to handle social situations
- Hypnosis to consolidate calm confidence and reinforce your new identity
Outcome: lasting change, emotional steadiness, and the freedom to live more openly.
How Progress is Measured:
Progress is tracked throughout the programme using the Tranceform Social Anxiety Test.
This helps you:
- measure emotional improvement clearly and consistently
- see progress even when it feels subtle
- build motivation and confidence in your transformation
Who This Programme is for:
This programme is ideal if you struggle with:
- fear of judgement or embarrassment
- difficulty speaking in groups or meeting new people
- anxiety around social events, work meetings, or authority figures
- overthinking conversations afterwards (“Did I say the wrong thing?”)
- blushing, shaking, sweating, or mind going blank socially
- avoidance and withdrawal from situations you want to enjoy
Investment
Initial Consultation: £30 (60 minutes)
6-Session Programme: £480 (6 × 60-minute sessions)
Programme Outcome
The goal is not to become someone you’re not.
The goal is to become more of yourself, without fear controlling how you show up.
By the end of the programme, clients typically experience:
- calmer body responses in social situations
- reduced overthinking and self-criticism
- stronger self-esteem and confidence
- improved ability to speak, connect, and be seen
- a more relaxed and authentic social presence
Final Note
Social anxiety can feel isolating, but it is also highly changeable.
This programme is designed to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident, not by forcing yourself to “just be brave,” but by gently re-training the nervous system and reshaping the beliefs and emotional patterns that keep social fear in place.
