Hypnosis for Children
Professional Hypnosis for Children in Wolverhampton
Children and young people have minds that are highly flexible and impressionable. This can be both very useful and also create problems of its own, however, if unwanted habits and behaviours are identified and addressed before they become ’embedded’ or ‘habitual’, then they can usually be ‘sorted-out’ before they develop into life-long patterns.
Joan is DBS cleared until 2021 and holds a Diploma in Paediatric Hypnotherapy with the International Society of Paediatric Hypnotherapists (TISPH).
As a guide to who Hypnosis for Children may be suitable for, Joan works with youngsters and adolescents in the age range 8 – 17.

Children respond to Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy in a highly accepting way and can normally overcome problems relatively quickly. In most cases we find that somewhere between 2 and 4 sessions will bring about the desired results, but of course, every child, like every person, is unique and some may require more or less sessions.
In the initial stages Joan will meet with both the child and a parent to discuss the problems and what might be suitable solutions. In the majority of cases, the child will follow the course of therapy on their own, although this is often defined by the age of the child concerned.
Children’s Hypnosis sessions cost £90
