Hypnosis Works!
At last, it’s official!
Hypnotism really does work – and it has an impact on the brain which can be measured scientifically, according to one of America’s leading psychiatrists.
David Spiegel, from Stanford University, told the prestigious American Association for the Advancement of Science that he had scanned the brains of volunteers who were told they were looking at coloured objects when, in fact, they were black and white.
A scan showing areas of the brain used to register colour highlighted increased blood flow, indicating that the volunteers genuinely ‘saw’ colours, as they had been told they would.
‘This is scientific evidence that something happens in the brain when people are hypnotised that doesn’t happen ordinarily,’ Mr Spiegel told delegates.
He added that there were ‘tremendous medical implications’ and envisaged people being able to manage their own pain and anxiety.
We Know Hypnosis Really Works!
Actually, if truth be told, many of us who have been helping people to overcome a wide range of problems using Hypnosis have known this for many years, but the reality is that our society has become incredibly “medicalised” over the last 20 years or so, and the Pharmaceutical companies wield so much commercial “power” that this trend is likely to grow even more in the coming future.
After all, the main objective of the Pharmaceutical industry is to generate profit – and you don’t generate much on-going profit if everybody who takes your pill is cured.
It must be better for ongoing profitability to give your clients a product that makes them feel a little better, but stops short of solving the problem so that they become dependent on your product to cope with life.
From a profit generating point of view, it makes a lot more good business sense to keep a user of your products taking the products for years – if they get better, you make less profit!
